Why Facebook and Twitter are glad they're getting older

Here is an interesting article from CNet about the changing demographics among Facebook and Twitter users.


Apparently 10 percent of Twitter users are between 55 and 64. Which is the same percentage as are 18-24. Also they state through a link to Reuters that 18- to 24-year-olds are 12 percent less likely than average to visit Twitter.

I love the comment about older users being a "coalition of the willing".
